2) Review of ARs:
- Mike Mirmak: Who has permission to access VHDL spec?
Has anyone tried?
- Mike LaBonte: Macro Library Documentation.
- Cadence: Write BIRD for the API proposal.
- Todd: Contact Synopsys on "public domain" HSPICE.
3) Technical discussion:
- Any progress on the BIRD?
- Are there any methodology dependencies in the API proposal?
- pole/zero vs. impulse (pulse, or step) response approach?
- functions and their arguments are currently predefined (fixed)
in the proposal, is this a potential threat for future expansion?
- is the behind the scenes communication between Tx and Rx models
posing any threat for making this API general purpose and useful
to any tool
- "Parameter" subparameter in IBIS currently doesn't allow value
assignments. There are situations when this capability may be
desirable. We need to discuss how this should be done and write
a BIRD if so decided.
