Walter,

On pg. 20 and 22 you have a different BIRD-s list.
Did you mean these lists to be different?

Also, did you intentionally include BIRD 123 (the
Jitter BIRD) in this list?

Thanks,

Arpad

Subject: [ibis-macro] Presentation on IBIS-ISS for packages, and Modules
(Boards, MCM Connectors, Cables), and External models

All,

Today's presentation will demonstrate a unified approach to addressing IBIS-ISS
models for package, on-die, board, MCM, connector, package and External Models.

When I put it all together, the solutions ended up using a common syntax,
simple to parse and understand, and addresses both the current needs of IC
Vendors and Users and the currently perceived needs of IC Vendors and Users.

The advantages of creating new sections in IBIS 6.0 over attempting to enhance
existing sections is compelling.

I plan on giving this presentation to the Open Forum on August 24, and
submitting the motion in the last slide of the presentation.

I will request that the Open Forum asks IBIS-ATM to review this presentation
and motion and report back to the next Open Forum meeting.

Walter
