Fangyi,

 

Another question about the DQS and DQ paths inside of the DQ.

 

It is clear that the operation of the DQ data path is a function of the DQS
signal (the DQ DFE needs to know when it is sampled to know when to apply
the DFE coefficient).

 

My question is about the DQS data path. Are the times that the DQS samples
the DQ latch a function of the DQ waveform at the latch? Another way of
saying this is if a DQS is latching several different DQ, does is sample
them all at the same time?
