If the weather report worsens and it starts looking more consistent for
rain all day, I support calling it off. But we also have to remember the
weather reporting around here… “70% chance of rain” means it could rain for
10 minutes once.

Those blue cells I gave you are 18650, which is the older style of cells
that Tesla uses.

Along the same lines, I'm assuming someone with a Tesla in the event can
allow me to borrow their charging adapters, again just for show and tell.
Also, if anyone has a sample of the single cells tesla uses, that would be
neat to show. I can print out pictures, but having the real thing there is
always better.
Other suggestions are also welcome. I'm prepared to talk in general about
miles/kW, comparison to gas costs, charging rates and costs, home charging,
public charging, etc.
