I have always enjoyed using Apple Mail in all the years I have used an Apple
Mac full-time, even in the days of OSx Tiger with my iBook Power PC.
Unfortunately Apple did away with the “Classic View” of mail, that made things
a little easier to navigate the App.
Someone did detail a way of setting up Mail so you could simulate the “Classic
View”, if anyone remembers how this is done then please pass the information on
<smile>
Apple have done a great job with mail for OS and IOS.

Hi!
I have been messing around in Apple Mail for the Mac and there is an item in
the files menu which says open in a new view and when I did this to see what
it would do, it took me to the inbox.
I also hid the tool bar and the favorites bar because I usually find myself
getting hung up in the favorites bar and have one heck of a time extricating
myself from it.
So hopefully this should simplify things for me.
