Well, I have a solid 3 to 4 bars of LTE here at the house and around my part of
town. So I could turn Wi-Fi on while at home, and sometimes do to get large
update. I would guess that having Wi-Fi and LTE on would be more of a drain
then just LTE, provided that I have a good signal.

Remember LTE can be a battery drain as well. You are correct though, WiFi
calling kicks in when attached to WiFI and drops off on LTE.

Hi Scott,
I'm still on in. And I do have Wi-Fi calling, but I am often on LTE only,
just because I can I suppose. I assume when I am set to LTE with Wi-Fi
turned off, that Wi-Fi calling is out of the picture.

Mary, what type of home networking are you using and are you using WiFi
calling? Do you have AC type networking or are you still on N? I notice
AC burns through the battery more not that this answers your Siri question
but it may help on the over all battery drain. Also, WiFi calling
I’m told for some reason burns down the battery.

When I looked at Battery Life usage statistics just now, I noticed that
Siri was said to be 44 minutes on screen within the last 24 hours, which
took up an astonishing 33% of the battery used. I wonder what they mean by
Siri 44 minutes on screen. When is Siri on screen except maybe now when
I'm dictating or when I ask it a questionor does the dictation still count
for mail usage, since I am using the Mail program. I guess I'm trying to
figure out what they mean by Siri on screen. I certainly have not use the
regular Siri functionality for anything approaching 44 minutes. And I
doubt, even if you take into account all of the dictations, that I have
used that for 44 minutes during the past 24 hours. I'm still having much
too rapid battery drain, and I'm trying to figure out why.
