SO you’d think it would be that simple.:)
LTE can power down in to a stand by mode when WiFi is active so the net drain
is less, especially if the call processs switches over to the WiFi channel.
The power management may actually do better with both enabled even though
that’s counter intuitive. I’d suggest just playing with it, try both, try one
and the other and see if you can find a happy balance. Try the new carrier
update and also see if that makes a difference. You never know if there’s a
problem there as well.

update. I would guess that having Wi-Fi and LTE on would be more of a drain
then just LTE, provided that I have a good signal.
