Actually there is a screen reader add on you can get from github. I love kodi
when I use it except it takes a lot of system resources. I'll ge the link at
some time if I can find it.

complaints about them but the Kodi open-source video player is
now the suggested way to play live TV on one's Mac as well as

Kodi doesn't play nice with voiceover in fact it doesn't
play at all. If you call it up, all you hear in voiceover is
"Kodi Entertainment Center" and the Close button which
ironically is the only other feature that voiceover picks up. Oh,

Apparently, all the other buttons either don't come to
life in voiceover or they don't show up at all. One can't do
anything at all after that except exercise one's constitutional
rights and hit the Close button.
I went to Kodi's web site to sign up for one of the
discussion forums and they are on to us. There's a CAPCHA you've
got to solve if you want to discuss anything at all. There is no
work-around for the CAPCHA so it's a really neat system for solving
this type of problem.
Got a problem with your parachute? If it fails, bring it
in 24/7 and we'll replace it for you.
One thing I must be clear about. Except for the hardware
which does work, Kodi and Silicondust's software projects are
open-source. If I knew more about C++, I'd be more than happy to
get the controls for Kodi in to some standard format that the API
for Mac can handle. This is not a conspiracy against anybody but
I didn't know whether to laugh or swear when I discovered that
there seems to be no barrier-free way to tell anybody that there
is even a problem. I'd love to tell somebody with the Kodi group
about either of these issues but I don't have a contact.
Does anybody here know anybody with Kodi? Silicondust is
only involved because Kodi is the package they expect their
customers to use. I wrote their support address, also, so if I
find anything out, I'll let this group know.
By the way, I did a bit of laughing and swearing.
If anybody has suggestions and or ideas about a nice
professional way to get the ball rolling, please let me know.
