Why not just copy paste. No need to drag anything. I just copied with command c
the file and pasted it in to the ~/library folder mentioned in the article.

The installation is quite simple once you stumble on to
how to do it. I really like the command line as I have been doing
unix that way for 25 years and what one must do is copy
service.xbmc.tts in to
/Users/YOURNAME/library/Application Support/Kodi/addons. If you
feel more comfortable using the drag and drop sequence in
voiceover, then do that, but you need to end up with the service.xbmc.tts
directory sitting there in the
/Users/YOURNAME/library/Application Support/Kodi/addons directory.
This creates Kodi's own self-contained screen reader so
you want to turn off voiceover while running Kodi. Type Cmd-f5 to
kill voiceover. You can start kodi at this point by typing
Command-Space followed by the name kodi followed by Return.
In my case, the voice starts up a little slower than I
have voiceover set, but Kodi starts and the scheme appears to be
that you use the arrows to move through the menu. Remember, this
isn't voiceover so none of the VO commands work, just Up, Down,
Left sometimes and Right sometimes. The backspace key works like
a Back button. Escape also seems to move you back but I am not
sure if it does anything special.
I need an addon that I didn't find so I am not yet
running anything useful but this is light years ahead of where I
was at this time yesterday.
Thank you and remember that when you exit Kodi, remember
to restart voiceover.
