I would try logging in directly to the iCloud site with Safari and going that
route.

There was my name displayed for another icloud account I remember having to
do it back after buying this mac but have not used it all this time,it showed
my first and last name plus some numbers/letters not sure what that was
about,but did say edit,so just wondering what would happen if I edit that
name out and put something else in or left it blank?
