Interesting, I use a mac book pro running High Sierra and have no difficulty
doing contacts on it.
I do sure like the fact that if created on the mac, it will also be showing on
phone contacts and as well if added or even deleted from phone, same will be on
mac.
Now what I do on mac in contacts after it opens if its for a new contact, press
command N and fill out the fields.
If its to edit an existing contact,after opening contacts, I find the one I
need and press command L and find the info I need to change
That’s all I’ve ever done since Yosemite.
