+1 on this as well. I was thinking the original poster was thinking more like
access with the pre built forms and such but if the poster became skilled in
MySQL that’s a hugely marketable skill. Database administrators are in huge
demand. You could spin up a virtual image even out on the internet for less
than $10 per month and set up a very small mysql server.
