I’m not sure what you are describing. The Say All command isn’t working
for you at all? I could just be not getting it on a Sunday afternoon, but can
you describe exactly what is happening?

Hello everyone.
Are any of you experiencing VoiceOver stopping from a read all if your
system preferences energy saver settings are set to the bare minimum with
OSX el capitan?
Can't seem to remember what or even how my energy saver settings were set
from Yosemite but the obvious reason why I would rather set them to the
lowest is to conserve as much battery life as possible and I'm getting a
sense that el capitan is using more than it should. Even though I have my
brightness all the way down to 0 percent.
Any thoughts, tips or even places I might check on the system would be
really appreciated. Should point out too that this was by chance a clean
install of the OS so any lingering stuff from my past upgrades shouldn't of
effected this newer OS in any form from a clean install perspective.
Thanks
