I never check my trash. I have hazel empty it for me ever hour but I
still use these commands, no need to use vo to do it, well, no need to
use vo commands anyway. I empty my trash at least once a day before I go
to bed at night.

I do have a checkbox that will notfy me when its time to empty my trash,so after opening trash,I check the items in there first,then I press vo-shift-m and arrow to empty trash and vo space it.
when i send something to trash, i can either press command-delete or if i know i do not want it again, command-option-delete
