Certainly the end if you plan on upgrading to Mac OS Big Sur as the Acapell
Voice Manager won’t be updated.
I’m very sad to hear of this development as I rated the Acapella voices very
highly, even higher than those that came with the Mac and IOS.
Still Assistive Ware have their priorities and I would imagine its very hard to
convince people that they should shell out extra cash for better quality voices
when they can make do with what’s on their Mac and IOS device already.
As far as I know Acapella voices are still available for Android as a great
third party speech solution, are still available for users of Voice Dream
products etc.
