In a limited capacity, yes. On iOS, this has been a feature for a while. It can tell you whether the pic is blurry or not, and if the pic has a face. When using the camera app, it will tell you when you have focus and how many faces are in the shot. For example, when taking a pic of my wife and kid, it will say one face, one small face autofocused. if you weren't aware of this, enjoy.
