Aside from the speaker, there is a change in the 7.x Daniel compact voice. I don't use it but used it while I was setting up the device before the hq voie kicked in. I don't use the HQ voice and the male voice is the only one I can actually understand with clarity, punctuation and in general for my day to day use of the device.
