Hi folks,
I just sent this to the mac voiceover list so I thought I mite send it to this
list for those who mite be interested.

Hello every one.
After using LibreOffice Writer for a while here in the office I have revisited
the guide and found it lacking so I hopefully have improved it.
First of all a snip from the guide,
LibreOffice Writer with Voiceover a guide V--02.
LibreOffice is an office suite which is used by tens of millions around the
world and it can be downloaded for free. It continues to be developed by
programers and code masters who wanted an office suite with all of the
enhancements that they wanted to see in an office suite and they share it with
the world in many languages and on a number of platforms, the mac os, Windows
and so on.
First of all, what LibreOffice Writer is not.
If you want to read a book or newspaper this app is not for you because the
document is presented to a screen reader as a series of text fields and every
time you press enter while you are writing a new one is created and you need to
move between them with arrow keys or vo and arrow keys.
What LibreOffice Writer is.
It is a great word processor which makes it very easy to isolate parts of the
newsletter, letter, guide, article and so on so that you can correct, add to or
take out. All of the things you need to do with a word processor. I have
attached the file but if you have no interest just delete it.
It is quite functional and I don't think I have found anything so far that I
could not learn to use.

Hopefully I will be able to give you a few hints and tricks to make it easier
to get around in Writer the word processor in this suite.
First of all we should begin by downloading this app. You can download it here,
https://www.libreoffice.org
Once you have it downloaded and placed where you want it we can begin.
1. Find LibreOffice in the doc or wherever you have it placed and open the
program. Move to the Writer document button and press the button with VO
keys-space bar.
2. when you move to the edit field with vo-keys right arrow every time you
press enter a new edit field will be created for you to type in and you can
read what you wrote in that edit field with vo-keys-a. You can move between
the edit fields with vo-keys left and right arrow keys. If you wish to make a
change in the text in any one of these edit fields you may need to interact
with the field and use right or left arrow and up and down arrow keys to move
through the field.
3. When you have completed your document and if you would like to spell check
your work you can press command-shift colon as you would with any other word
processor. You will find a grammar checker as well in the spell checker area.
When you close your file and wish to open it again try the following.
Open your file. With vo-keys right arrow go to the scroll area and interact.
Now using vo-keys right arrow again move to document view and interact.
Opening files that have not been written with Writer may be done in the
following manner.
Select the file you wish to open and use VO keys-shift-m. Arrow down to Libre
office and Vo-keys space on it.
Then with VO keys right arrow move to the scroll area and interact.
Then move to document view and interact.
If you find that you want to edit the file you open and you find that you have
no typing echo it may be because the file has opened in the read only mode.
go to file edit and find edit mode and check it.
This is all that I will add for now but this should be enough to get you
started.
