Hello every one.
After using LibreOffice Writer for a while here in the office I have
revisited the guide and found it lacking so I hopefully have improved it.
First of all a snip from the guide,
LibreOffice Writer with Voiceover a guide V--02.
LibreOffice is an office suite which is used by tens of millions around the
world and it can be downloaded for free. It continues to be developed by
programers and code masters who wanted an office suite with all of the
enhancements that they wanted to see in an office suite and they share it
with the world in many languages and on a number of platforms, the mac os,
Windows and so on.
First of all, what LibreOffice Writer is not.
If you want to read a book or newspaper this app is not for you because the
document is presented to a screen reader as a series of text fields and every
time you press enter while you are writing a new one is created and you need
to move between them with arrow keys or vo and arrow keys.
What LibreOffice Writer is.
It is a great word processor which makes it very easy to isolate parts of the
newsletter, letter, guide, article and so on so that you can correct, add to
or take out. All of the things you need to do with a word processor. I have
attached the file but if you have no interest just delete it.
It is quite functional and I don't think I have found anything so far that I
could not learn to use.
