I can't remember if I mentioned, she started having this problem after she
upgraded to the iOS Sierra and when she upgraded her iTunes. So I'm kind of
thinking it may be more of a software issue but I'm not sure. Thanks again. I'm
not having this problem so it's hard for me to try to help her.

Is she using a rotating type older hard drive or is this a newer mini with
SSD storage? The older drives can exhibit this condition especially if they
are nearing full or been in service for a while with a fragmenting file
system.

First of all, thank you for your help with the ringtone issue. I have a
friend in Denver who has a Mac Mini. She is totally blind. She does not
have a screen with her Mac Mini. Of course in the past I have read things
about male busy issues, and she finally got that fixed with an adapter.
Now, when she goes into iTunes she is getting an iTunes busy message. When
she called excess ability, the problem went away. So, that made a
suspicious that it was the same kind of issue. I also have a mini, but I
have a screen plugged into it. I am plug my screen, and iTunes still worked
fine. Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if so, is there a fix?
Thank you in advance I appreciate any help you can give me.
