Crap! Too late! I ordered it from Apple yesterday. Just my luck. It's the
MD101LL (the 13-inch 2012 non-retina) with the 500GB hard disk. I
customized it for the 2.9 GHz processor and 8 GB RAM and it came in $400
cheaper than a similarly configured retina model with SSD. It does include
a CD/DVD drive, and there's no way to opt out of that.
