On my gen4 iPad, I was using Safari, and I went to google.com.
Then, like I would do in Windows, I went to the combo box for performing a
Google search.
I could not enter text using my external keyboard in order to enter a search
string. I could enter the string using the physical iPad. I tested this using
a non Apple and an Apple keyboard.
I used VO space, and up+down arrows to do the double tap.
The result was that if I typed a key that VoiceOver would act upon VoiceOver
would take action.
If I typed anything else I would get the bong.
My searches implied that iOS has had problems with combo box for some time now.
Has anyone had any luck with searching from google.com with an iOS device with
an external keyboard?
