Hi.
For those who will be working with the Mac mini M1 computer bare in mind
that the way you enter recovery mode has changed.
To do this shut down the computer and hold down the power button on the
back of the Mini, the power button is found in the position where it has
always been on a Mac mini.
Hold down until you hear the start-up chime and then release the button.
A couple of seconds after the button is released a menu of options will
appear on the screen, at this point arrow down once on your keyboard and
then press enter.
Wait for a few seconds and then press command-f5 to bring up VoiceOver, you
should then be on the recovery screen and able to browse through the
various options available including Time Machine Backup restoration,
complete OS installation, Disk Utility and so on.
Its with Disk Utility that I cam across an issue with Voiceover, for some
reason Voiceover keeps turning itself on and off when you try to browse the
Disk Utility screen so be aware of that.
