I don’t know if you can upgrade the laptops easily. I know some of the
complaints were that it was really difficult to upgrade the existing laptops
because of how tight the guts were. I don’t know if that has changed of late.

With the 2 iMac machines here I was able to buy a basic configuration - 8GB
of RAM and 512GB ssd drive - and upgrade this later for a fraction of the
cost curtesy of my local Computer Shop - Apple Service Agent - at a fraction
of the cost Apple would have charged for the customised item.
So to the obvious question, can I follow the same procedure with one of these
new MacBook Pro machines?
