[mac4theblind] Reparing hard drive permisions

Hi
I just got my old MacBook Pro memory upgraded to 8 G and have installed
Yosemite. I would like to run permissions on my hard drive. Where do I find
it in Yosemite? I knew how to do this in Mountain Lion and Mavericks.
Since I am just getting started with Yosemite, is there anything I should know
about?
I am hoping that upgrading the memory from 4 G to 8 will improve how my Mac
handles the software upgrade. It is a 2010 Mac.
