Hi.
One of the best Text Editors/Wordpads I’ve ever seen for the Mac in my opinion
is iText or iText Pro, iText is free and along with iText Pro can be downloaded
from the Mac Apps Store.
I gave up on Text Edit long ago due to random problems popping up such as the
one described below.
You will find that - even the free version of iText - leaves Text Edit smoking
in the dust.
Thanks to another user of the Mac who found the brilliant iText App and alerted
myself and other Mac users to it.
