Ok, so speed like this depends on a lot of factors.
First, the wired test is a good test, the fact the Eero reports properly is a
good sign that your connection is provisioned properly.
Next issue is depending o the features you have enabled on the Eero you might
be limiting that traffic so it doesn’t swamp out something else running. Say
for example if you have a movie playing when you start the speed test you’ll
likely not get the line rate because the Eero makes changes so that video
stream experience is still great even though you’re pounding away with data.
So it will play games with different flows to insure quality experiences on
each.
Another is the radios themselves. You might have interference so try
moving around and try running that test with you next to the gateway Eero, the
one with the provider attached. Insure you’re connected to that AP and run the
test ruling out the rest of the network. Move around and test.
Another issue is your WiFi in your remote device might not be capable
of 400m, it might be limited to a slower speed so it’s not the Eero but the end
client.
I’d play around with a few of these things and see where you end up. Try
closer to each AP etc.
Good luck.

Ok, gonna try to keep this simple. I upgraded my speed from 200 MBPS to 400
MBPS. Before I did this the speed test app and the eero results matched.
200 plus across the board. Now that my speed has increased, eero gives me
400 plus, but when I use the speed test or my ISP website test site, I am
barely getting 200, before I upgraded my speed, no matter where I was on iPad
or iPhone, the speed was consistent with both eero speed app, speed test, and
ISP website test. The only way I get the correct speed outside of the eeero
speed test app, is when the Mac is hard wired to the modem. Any reason why
this is, and how can I fix this?
