Hello,
I have an iPad mini 4, but will be upgrading due to limited storage on
my current iPad. My dad is really pushing me to get a 128 gig mini 4,
but I absolutely hate the fingerprint reader on that device. There was
a period of several months where my iPad would not read my fingerprint
no matter what I did, yet my iPhone 8 reads it perfectly every time.
My iPad seems to be better now, but there is no way I am going to
suffer through having to enter my passcode every time I want to unlock
my iPad. I am looking at the newer 9.7 inch model, but if I do end up
having to get another mini 4, is there anything I can do to make the
fingerprint reader more accurate? I've deleted my fingerprint and
added it I don't know how many times and it would work for a while,
then stop working again. I know this is a silly reason to avoid the
mini 4, but having Touch ID that works is a big deal to me.
