Use your thumbs instead of your other fingers. Also, when creating the print,
make sure you slightly turn your thumb in various directions to get the widest
range of the print. This worked best for me when I was using touch ID.

added it I don't know how many times and it would work for a while,
then stop working again. I know this is a silly reason to avoid the
mini 4, but having Touch ID that works is a big deal to me.
