I thought MP4 was a format iOS recognized. I have been using

Happy Fourth of July to everyone.
I have a question that I have been thinking about asking for a while. I have
a video in MP4 format stored in my dropbox account. When I move it to my
photo library on my iPhone and try to play it, it says the phone cannot play
that format. How can I convert the MP4 video into something the iPhone or
iPad can play without using the Dropbox account because I would like to store
the video also on my photo library.
Thanks for any suggestions.
