Hey to all, what is the status of the search for a text editor that teeats line breaks as line breaks. Remember the example I gave on my dropbox. Thanks.

Have you tried the option-enter for hard line breaks? That might work for other word processors.

Hello to all I love text edit, however when Im’ reading a text file in windows the line brakes I put there do not get treated as line brakes . In fact they either disappear or they are not visible. I know what causes this to happen, but I do not want to change the text files to rtf files to read them under windows. I am actually not aloud to. mac text editor that will preserve the line brakes in unicode and I can edit the text files for everybody and it can come out correctly under windows?

Thanks so much.
