I have a CCC backup but how do I move my apps slowly wiht ccc, I didn't even
know you could do that. I want the app's settings and keys to move over to.

I believe you can use migration assistant to do this. However, if you
really want to go the distance as I have done, I'd backup the system using a
CCC or Super Duper and do a complete clean install. After that, I'd manually
move over my apps and the preferences little by little and bring back your
documents folder and such at your leisure. Obviously, this would require a
lot of time and patience, but it's the best way to fully start from scratch.
