i asked about recovery beecause i cant start my mac only a ? appears on the screen Christian Schoepplein skrev den 2014-10-27 23:19:
OK, I tested it myself... With cmd +r the recovery mode is started and I can reinstall Yosemite, because it is on my recovery partition. With option + cmd + r also the recovery mode is started, but I can only install Lion which was installed on my Mac as I bought it. Looks like internet recovery can be forced even if a working recovery partition is on the hard drive. As written before..., sometimes the system which is stored on the recovery partition is not the system that I like to install. So forcing internet recovery would be nice :-).
