[mac4theblind] how to carry over files?

Hello all. I am new to the mac and trying to get some things sorted
here. If you have a windows drive and you want to move the content
over to a mac drive or the drive in the mac itself, how is the best
way to go about? I cannot connect the windows drive to the mac and see
the content while its stil ntfs, and I cannot yet format to mac format
if I did not yet moved over the data. Any ideas?
