[mac4theblind] how to get Safari "show all history" to expand

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me how to expand the Safari history lists which are
compressed when I try to view a previous day from the table presented when I
"show all history"? I need a keyboard command please. I don't use the mouse
or gestures. I'm on a MAC with OSX and its latest updates for Mountain Lion.
A related question: Is there a way to make the base history option show more
than one previous week? I have my preferences set to keep the history for one
month.
