[mac4theblind] my doc is acting oddly.

Hello to all. since last night my doc takes about 3-5 seconds to load. and when
I right arrow or even vo left and right through, it takes about 2 seconds for
it to even respond. I don't' know how to fix this. I tried
1. a permissions repair
2. a restart
3. reseting all of my prefs in tinker tool
and nothing has worked. I din't have time to reinstall osx at the moment so
what else would anyone suggest? I tried clearing out some no longer used items
in the doc but that is not happening either. It is still very slow. I'm at the
end of my troubleshooting steps here.

Running osx 10.9.3 on a mb air 8 gig ram.
