This is a long term sub position
A Teacher in the Nashua School District is highly qualified for the delivery of 
specified course content,
uses effective strategies for differentiation, interacts positively, 
professionally, showing respect with students and parents, expects students to 
learn and not fail, actively engages students in lessons that are planned 
around grade level expectations and enhance critical thinking skills. Teachers 
implement instructional strategies that contribute to a climate where students 
are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences. The effective teacher 
inspires and empowers students in their own learning and collaborates with 
their peers regularly to align curriculum and enhance the instructional 
environment towards gains in student performance goals. Professional 
obligations of teachers are
met through continuous pursuit of new understanding of teaching and learning, 
reflection on their own practices and beliefs and through efficient work habits 
for planning lessons, meeting deadlines and honoring schedules. Teaching 
applicants must be NH certified or anticipate or hold a statement of 
eligibility issued by the NH Department of Education. Applicants must apply 
online at www.nashua.edu and include a letter of interest, resume, official 
transcripts; graduate and undergraduate, three letters of recommendation, copy 
of NH certification or letter of eligibility and HQT documentation
if teaching core academic areas. Secondary teachers, fully certified to teach 
in a core academic content area are HQT.
