To NEACT members,
I am the Chairperson of the Secondary School Awards Committee of the New
England Institute of Chemists. Our organization is seeking nominations for
its annual Secondary School Chemistry Teacher Award. This award recognizes
outstanding secondary school teachers in New England who have fostered an
interest in chemistry through outreach programs, innovative teaching
methods, and extracurricular activities.
I am writing to all of you because my committee needs assistance in
identifying potential nominees for this award, and believe that some of you
will know a secondary school chemistry teacher who is deserving of this
recognition. The attached Word file explains the nomination process which
is really quite simple.
