I have seldom been so anxious for spring as this year!
How about your fixed gear baby?
The Monty? Well, Dirk and I welded the rear fork a fortnight ago and
right now I am building the rear (16") wheel. Waiting for some parts to
be delivered.
I have an idea for a seat 'cradle' that will enable the seat (an old
Challenge seat) to be both 'leanable' and slideable along the middle
part of frame. This I want partly for comfort reasons, partly because I
want to be able to reach top of pivot in order to split the bike in
two.
And then there is the problem of the pivot itself. I am thinking of
doing some kind of lockable device on the small pivot fork so splitting
the bike will be fairly easy. But this is far from being solved.
Solving problems keeps you warm ...
