Hello Marek and Stephan, you both are really pushing things forward! Now we have a nice training ground for testing the MediaWiki possibilities much sooner than we thought.
As for the legal stuff: Being one of the co-founders of the non-commercial german bike-traveller wiki:
http://radreise-wiki.deI remember well the hassle, we had to agree for a licence model. All that legislation stuff is really annoying, but it seems unavoidable. I would propose for our upcoming wiki the following model:
http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/That means, all the content of the wiki, text and pictures and everything else, may be shared under the three following conditions:
1. Attribution: You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work).
2. Noncommercial: You may not use this work for commercial purposes.3. Share Alike: If you alter, transform, or build upon this work, you may distribute the resulting work only under the same or similar license to this one.
Cheers, Jürgen. ============================================================ This is the Python Mailinglist //www.freelists.org/list/python Listmaster: Jürgen Mages jmages@xxxxxxTo unsubscribe send an empty mail to python-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
