I agree with both, that 1st build should probably as simple as possible for 
sake 
of learning, and 2nd build should definitely have suspension(s) for comfort, 
which is nice to have, but it goes well with the laid-back cruising style...

Hi Pythonauts,

I put a pretty exact copy of Jurgen's original DIY suspension on my Python, and 
I've been impressed with what a smooth, easy ride it gives, with no problems of 
which I'm aware. I'd say it's worth the extra work. I like in particular how 
easily it rides off-road and over moderately rough grass. I arranged for the 
special training trike-back end to be connected to the front end behind the 
suspension, so that either for trike or bike I get the benefit of it.
