Fyra No bikes allowed (safety regulations) A folder in a bag is considered normal luggage Thalys Bikes with front wheel removed and in a special bike bag (max. 120x90) are allowed A folder in a bag is considered normal luggage Intercity Brussel Limited amount of space for bikes. TGV Bikes with front wheel removed and in a special bike bag (max. 120x90) are allowed Eurostar Bikes in special bike bag are allowed if not bigger than normal suitcase. For travellers between Brussel/Paris/Lille and London there is an option to take your bike as special luggage for €25. They advise to protect it well and take a good travel insurance, I think this is not a good sign ;) ICE International The NS (Dutch) and DB (German) have different rules for (folding) bikes Dutch ICE rules: - With a NS national ticket you are allowed to take a folding bike without a bag. - With a international ticket only bagged folders are allowed - It's allowed to take bikes if the fit in a suitcase not bigger than 85 (they didn't mention other dimensions) German ICE rules: - (Folding) bikes are only allowed as luggage if fitted in a bag (max 120 x 90) Uipko ============================================================ This is the Python Mailinglist //www.freelists.org/list/python Listmaster: Jurgen Mages jmages@xxxxxx To unsubscribe send an empty mail to python-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field. ============================================================
