I totally agree as well! :) Part of the challenge is not only learning to ride, but developing the fine motor control and reflexes so I didn't need any kind of steering buffers. Marcel always wanted to put one on his, but in the end, he never ever put one on because I guess he didn't need it bad enough either. On another note, I think you should be very proud, or at least very happy that such a unique and extreme design, that is as difficult to learn as it is, has caught on so well in so many different places, and with such interesting variations. I still think it's one of the coolest bikes I've ever been lucky enough to learn to ride. > > If you're considering springs, especially progressive ones, > > why not just scrap the pivot and go back to positive trail > > so you have high speed stability, and use the springs to > > recover the centering effect ? > > > > To me, the beauty of the python is lost when you toss on > > these "assists". > > Thanks Kevin, > > my thoughts, precisely! > > Let's keep things simple and beautiful ... > > Jürgen. ============================================================ This is the Python Mailinglist //www.freelists.org/list/python Listmaster: Jürgen Mages jmages@xxxxxx To unsubscribe send an empty mail to python-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field. ============================================================
