[python] Re: locking the pivot

Hi,

I thought of a steering damper too and tested a selfmade one. It was in the first few hours of learning to ride the python.
It did not help me to keep the bike calm, so I decided to leave it way.
I can not say if a damper would help with high spped problems, i never tested my selfmad damper with high speeds.

I am still thinking of a rubber block or spring in the steering which is twisted by turning the wheel. The centering effect would risened by that, right ?
And the bike won´t flop when it stands without rider.
Maybe two progressive springs for each side could be a suitable solution. They should be barely strong enough to hold the front part in the middle, but progressively rise the force when steeering left or right.

Your opinions about that ?
