Jurgen, I understand and I share with you this feeling that a community can make happen things we couldn't come with alone. And yet I think you should anyway get a patent or a way to protect yourself, or the community if you wish, from people without sense of justice. The same way GPL protect the programmer community without limiting its creativeness.

Florent, I have no interest in going commercial. Also, the python has developed enormously through the input and great ideas from the community. Call it an Open Source Recumbent if you like.
