Dirk, I have a formally feral kitten that is now, occasionally, a run away cat; I keep considering this company's radio collar products: http://www.loc8tor.com/ I started out looking for "GPS tracking" but radio collars looked like a better and less expensive alternative to finding lost cats (or pythoons). :-) I also put the cat in a harness and added a large bell but that may not be as helpful with pythoons. One could sew the tag into the seat upholstery or hide it under a fender or some other place that hasn't been published on the Internet.
