Hello list

Totally new to the Raspberry Pie and programming in general. I'm a journalist
by trade so this micro level of understanding is way outside my comfort zone.
I'm really keen though to explore and discover exactly what this little piece
of kit can do. I must say however that even the getting started page of the
Raspberry VI website has me reaching for the headache tablets. I have no idea
whatsoever what it all means. I would like to though. It would be great if
someone could explain things to me as though you were explaining to your mother
or a small child. That's the level of my understanding at the moment.

Thanks for now and look forward to a steep ish learning curve.

Johny
