Hi Johny.
Its great to see you on here! if you'd like, we can hook up via voice
chat sometime and I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have if
you find learning via voice easier as opposed to email.
We were all in your position at 1 time, hense the desire to start this
website to help others. we should probably produce a podcast as well
covering the very basics of a raspberry Pi, another new years
resolution to add to the list. in answer to your question, I paid just
over £41 I think for my Pi. I bought all my components separately,
though most people buy kits. the pi board cost me £25, then the power
supply cost a further £6, the card cost £5 for a 4GB card, and the
case cost £5 off ebay.

all the best,

Mo.
