Hello
About a year ago I wrote some software for modmypi to support a product
called pico. It is a UPS.
The software I wrote monitors the GPIO bus and responds to a signal from
the UPS to shutdown the Pi because the power has failed.
It is also possible to read the battery state from the SPI.
Go to:
https://modmypi.com/
It just has a little li-poly battery which has enough power in it for
the Pi to do a clean shutdown when the power fails.

Hi all,
I am looking for a compact raspberry pi ups. I did buy one but it turned out
to be a battery pack. I want something that will alert me if the battery
goes too low. Does such an animal exist or do I need to create one?
