Can you use the UPS with a Raspberry Pi Cluster?
I know that if done. It would need a larger battery than the 450mah that comes
with the basic one.
If it’s possible. What all would need to be done as far as configuration?
Chuck?

Ermmmm. I think that the UPS has a simple voltage detector which signals
one of the GPIO of the Pi. The Pi will have to generate an alarm based on
this . The UPS is in the form of a Pi Shield, eg a small board which docks
with the GPIO fingers.
Maybe it is in the code element offered with this kit.
Hope this helps. I just Googled Pi UPS and this seemed good. This is the
one hour version, there is a heavier grade item also on offer.
I discussed this earlier this year with mikey11 , maybe he has words
of wisdom.

Hi John,
This is exactly what I want. However, I have a touch screen connected to my
raspberry pi 3. I can connect this device via the micro USB port but will I
still get the battery information?

What about
https://www.tindie.com/products/pkawas/pi-zero-uptime-ups-for-pi-in-pi-zero-
size-2/
Which is a kind of Pi-wart eg a side shield with a standby battery.
Good text explanatory.

information warning
Hi all,
I am looking for a compact raspberry pi ups. I did buy one but it turned out
to be a battery pack. I want something that will alert me if the battery
goes too low. Does such an animal exist or do I need to create one?
